The Mauston Community Sharing Pantry
serves people in the Mauston school district.
It is open for food distribution on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-11:00
St. Mary’s Parish has joined as a church partner.

Canadian Pacific/Kansas City Holiday Train will be on Thursday, December 11 at 4:15pm at the Railroad Crossing on Division Street. This is our one large fundraising event for the year.It is a terrific musical experience with the awesome decorated Holiday Train- a feast for your eyes! Please bring a canned good item or a cash donation to help fill up our pantry. Cash donations for the evening will be matched!
Remember, our pantry has no paid staff. We have 18 board members and 75 volunteers. All donations go to building upkeep and food! We have seen a 13% increase in those we are assisting. We have served over 600 different families so far this year. Our motto is “Prepared…not panicked”. Our job is to help keep families fed in our school district. This can only be done with community assistance which you have provided for the past 42 years. The Bank of Mauston is matching funds through the month of November. WRJC sponsored a successful cash drive – with excellent co-hosts, the Mauston School Key Club has spearheaded their great annual food drive on our behalf.
Needs for the upcoming winter season: soups, canned protein, canned veggies or fruit, cereal, 100% juice, regular peanut butter, sugar, flour, spices; any type of health and beauty items – toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, Kleenex, toilet paper. We do watch the dates and the food we distribute should not be older than 2025.We are so very grateful for your assistance this past year and for helping others to know we do care about them. Thank you!

“Called and Gifted” Workshop
March 21, 2026
Our Lady of Peace Parish in Marshfield
An in-person “Called and Gifted” workshop will be offered on Saturday, March 21, 2026. The Office for Catechesis & Evangelization and the Marshfield parishes will be hosting the workshop. The “Called & Gifted” discernment process offered by the Catherine of Siena Institute has been used since 1993 by over 200,000Catholics around the world. It is designed to help Christians discern specific charisms in their lives. Charisms, or spiritual gifts, are special abilities given to all Christians by the Holy Spirit. God calls each of us to (and gifts us for) the work that we most love. We want to know what gifts God has given to us because when we use them, our life is enriched with purpose and joy. The “Called and Gifted” workshop will be held at Our Lady of Peace Parish in Marshfield. Further details to follow.
Project Seed Sales Coming in the Spring
Farmers, mark your calendars for a Forage & Seed Corn sale that will be coming to several locations in spring of 2026, supported by the Diocesan Rural Life Committee, offering high-quality, low-cost seed.
