Project Seed Sales Coming in the Spring
Farmers, mark your calendars for a Forage & Seed Corn sale that will be coming to several locations in spring of 2026, supported by the Diocesan Rural Life Committee, offering high-quality, low-cost seed. Seed corn is offered in both conventional and glyphosate tolerant varieties. There will be alfalfa and clover ready for sale and non-GMO seed can be ordered. Comparable yields make this seed an attractive alternative.
Sale dates and locations:
- March 28 – 10:30 AM-1:00 PM at Fourments Farm Home Store in Colby
- April 11 – 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Church in Cassel
For more information, call Scott Mohr at 608-769-2764, or Steve Mohr at 608-780-5460.
Adult Faith Formation Opportunities
Our parish is excited to begin offering faith formation classes for adults who would like to grow in their understanding of Sacred Scripture and Catholic teaching. All parishioners are welcome to participate. We will begin with two three-week courses, light hors d’oeuvres will be provided after class. Participants are welcome to bring a dish to share if they wish:
“Easter – Season of Realized Hope” Begins March 15 at 4:00 pm in St. Bridget’s Hall.
“Hospitality – Welcoming the Stranger” Begins April 12 at 4:00 pm in St. Bridget’s Hall.
These are just two of many possible offerings, and additional courses may be scheduled based on parish interest. If you would like to attend, please sign up on the sheets in the vestibule so that materials can be ordered. These courses are part of the Little Rock Catholic Scripture Study program. If there is a course listed on their website that you would be interested in attending, please let us know so we can explore offering it at our parish.
